Example Retreat Daily Schedule
Whilst I always have a structured plan in mind, the magic of a small retreat is adaptability. If the group needs more rest, we slow down. If you need extra support, you get it.
Because spaces are strictly limited, you won't be just a face in a crowd. This smaller environment allows for unwavering attention and support, ensuring the practice is tailored daily to your unique physical and emotional needs. From the moment you step into the room, you are fully seen.
Sample Schedule approx 4 - 5 hours per day.
Morning session (2 hours) Yoga movement and flow, breath-work, meditation.
Lunch
Afternoon session (2 hour) Workshop/Discussion 1 hour; 1 hour focused on relaxation, somatic movement, restorative yoga, or meditation
Dinner
Sat night - weather permitting we will have a fire pit ceremony
Step into a space designed for renewal. Here, you'll practice in a stunning yoga studio that opens up to the Scottish hills. Pair that with beautiful accommodations, nourishing food, and you have the ultimate haven to relax and restore. Your journey starts here.
Your Retreat
Your Accommodation
A private Victorian mansion set in 100 acres
This is not your typical venue, and it's definitely not a typical retreat.
Your home for the duration of the retreat is nestled in the beautiful Scottish Borders.
Throughout the retreat, you will have the opportunity to draw on the healing powers of nature, the calming sense emanating from the house, and the rejuvenating power of a truly excellent night's sleep.
Combine this with food that nurtures your very soul (and naturally, your taste buds!), yoga and breathwork that nourishes your body and your mind and this is an experience designed to ensure you leave feeling renewed and ready to tackle the world.
Woll House is an exquisite Victorian mansion, and its estate comprises over 100 acres of private woodlands and fields that you're welcome to explore at your leisure. Or, if you prefer, you can simply sit on the deck with a book and enjoy the views over the open Scottish hills.
In addition to the yoga studio, infrared sauna, ice bath and hot tub, there is an extensive library with an open fireplace as well as plenty of room in the drawing room to relax and curl up in front of the fire.

Retreat Food…
Our private chef, Delia, aka The Jammy Cook, will be providing all your food. Having run her own successful restaurant, Delia now works as a private chef for exclusive events and we are lucky to have her skills exclusively for this retreat.
Delia and I are both "foodies" so every dish is designed to tickle your taste buds and ensures that the food is an important part of your retreat.
Curated to nourish both your body and your soul, all meals are designed to put a smile on your face and a "mmmmm" in your mouth!
Brunches and dinners will be vegetarian or fish-based using delicious local fresh produce.
Every dish is prepared using Delia's flair for spices and herbs and everything will tantalize your tastebuds and tease your eyes. Each meal will include a main and side dishes as well as a pudding.
In addition, on Friday an afternoon tea will be offered including home-baked scones, cookies, or cakes.
Unlimited tea, herbal tea, and coffee are included.
Before the morning workshops, fruit and bread/pastries will be available for those of you that prefer not to practice on an empty stomach.
Woll House is nestled in beautiful Scottish Borders countryside and provides an atmosphere of peace and tranquillity that will perfectly complement this exclusive weekend.
The Teacher
Samantha has trained and competed in sports her entire life. After a horse riding accident shattered her knee, she started yoga as a way to rehab her body, and discovered that it offered much, much more than just physical benefits. Yoga kept her sane whilst running her successful London technology business. Since the sale of that venture, Samantha has pursued her passion and trained with many incredible teachers amassing over 1500 certified training hours. In addition to being an E-RYT500, Samantha is also a Lolita’s Legacy pilates teacher and Dr Mindy Pelz Fast Like a Girl certified coach.
Samantha brings a sense of playfulness to all her classes. Whether you’re sweating or dropping into deep relaxation, you’ll find that whilst Samantha takes her yoga seriously, her classes will always put a smile on your face..
A retreat for nature lovers
Wild Swimming is an optional extra. For those who prefer to stay dry, the hillwalking and peaceful setting is just as enjoyable.
We have a fire pit for evening relaxation and connection. Sit out under the stars and chat over the day or sit quietly and enjoy the flames.

Do I need travel insurance? Yes. Travel insurance is a condition of booking. It must cover cancellation, health, pandemics, activities such as yoga, walking, swimming in the loch if you opt for this and any additional excursions. The deposit (£231+) is non-refundable after 12 August, so travel insurance protects you in case life intervenes.
